Freshman - Discovery

Junior - Growth

Become active, engaged, self-starting learners. Develop critical and responsible behavior employing the resources and tools of emerging information technology. Exhibit mastery of research skills, evaluation of sources, synthesis of ideas.

Guidelines for Acceptance into Vincentian Scholars

Students must score 90% or above in each of the three academic areas of the COOP Exam: Reading, Language Usage, Math

Students must have scored advanced proficient on New Jersey Ask, Terra Nova or other Standardized test scores during 6th and 7th grade.

Students must have achieved an overall “A” average in academic courses in 6th, 7th and 8th grade

Students must maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.5 while attending DePaul Catholic to remain a Vincentian Scholar.

Vincentian Scholars have a separate traveling section and the students will spend a portion of the academic day together.

  • Honors Theology
  • Honors English
  • Honors History
  • Honors Biology
  • World Language (level determined by placement test)
  • Mathematics (level determined by placement test)
  • Physical Education

There is a partial academic Scholarship Award offered to each Vincentian Scholar to help defray the tuition cost.
