Need-Based Scholarships
DePaul Catholic Financial Aid (Class of 2016)
DePaul Catholic High School provides assistance for families who demonstrate need for financial assistance. Funds are generated through our alumni annual appeal, special events, and individual benefactors. Submission of a Smart Tuition Aid form and completed tax return records are necessary for a student to be considered for aid. You must submit your application on-line at www.smarttuitionaid.com between November 15, 2011 and February 15, 2012. Click here for Class of 2016 Parent Directions.
Tri-County Scholarship Fund
Once accepted, families may also apply for assistance through the Tri-County Scholarship Fund. (The window will open on January 20, 2012.) This need-based award is funded by the Tri-County Scholarship Fund and supported by the Diocese of Paterson. (www.factstuitionaid.com)
Scholarships (No Application Required)
- Monsignor John P. McHugh Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship renewable each year for four years based on academic merit.
- St. Vincent DePaul Scholarship is a partial scholarship renewable each year for four years based on academic merit, valued at $1500 per year. Freshmen are selected to receive this scholarship based on elementary school records and entrance exam results.
- Monsignor James O’Rorke Scholarship is a partial scholarship renewable each year for four years based on academic merit, valued at $1000 per year.
- Father Geno Sylva “Spartan” Scholarship is a partial scholarship renewable each year for four years based on service work, valued at $1000 per year.
- St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Valedictorian Scholarship is a partial scholarship for freshman year only awarded to the elementary school valedictorian who has chosen to attend DePaul Catholic, valued at $1000.
- Fred Keil Scholarship is a partial scholarship for freshman year only awarded to the outstanding student from an elementary school who has chosen to attend DePaul Catholic. The scholarship is valued at $500.00.
- Sibling Scholarship is awarded to the brother/sister of a currently enrolled DePaul student. This award is renewable while this criterion is met and is valued at $600.
- Sister Ann Joachim Scholarship is a half tuition scholarship renewable each year for four years based on academic merit.
Please note: Academic Scholarships are awarded to students based on COOP Entrance Exam scores and transcripts from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
Academic Scholarship Awards, in most cases, will be included in your decision letter.
