Student Council
Sydney Lobosco - Student Council President
My name is Sydney Lobosco and I am a senior at DePaul Catholic High School. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I represent my schoolmates as their Student Body President. I have attended DePaul for all four years of high school and could not resist getting involved in the extracurricular activities it offers.
As a member of Youth Group, I get to live out my Christian faith and participate in our charity events such as Coffee House and the Dodge Ball Tournament. Our Environmental Club sets how to go green by encouraging recycling throughout the school and making a peace garden for all to enjoy.
I am a Lady Spartan through and through and am looking forward to a successful season on the basketball team. DePaul’s Historian Michaela Arbus and I have co-founded a club that will take an active role in providing homes for rescued animals. Although there are big shoes to fill, the Student Council and I are setting out to make this year at DePaul Catholic the best one yet!

Leslie Diaz
"Being FEARLESS isn't being 100% Not FEARFUL, it's being terrified but you jump anyway...” My name is Leslie Diaz, and I recently was chosen Student Council Secretary. Becoming a representative of the school may be a bit intimidating considering your fate is in the the hands of the student body. But what I've learned throughout my three years attending DePaul Catholic High School is to be not afraid, to be fearless. Through this mantra, I’ve happily participated in two years of softball and many extra-curricular activities, such as Interact, Sophomore class council, and Operation Smile. Throughout my four years at DePaul, I want to be a role model to others, for them to become highly-involved with the school. I want them to be fearless.
Michaela Arbus
Michaela Arbus is a senior and a very active member in the DePaul Catholic Community. She is involved in many school clubs and activities in addition to being our school's historian. Some of these clubs include: Youth Group, Spirit Club, Italian Club, and Help FUR Friends, of which she is the founder and president. While contributing to these and other clubs, Michaela is also a dominate face on our varsity girls soccer team and both winter and spring track, where she holds the captain's positions. Academically she participates in all honors and AP level classes maintaining honor roll throughout the school year. Michaela is very excited about the strong council this year and looking to make a difference with them.
