It is my privilege to welcome you to DePaul Catholic High School – home to approximately 600 exceptional students in grades 8-12. As you visit this website, you will learn about our school, its people, and its programs. I hope that this brief overview encourages you to visit our campus and experience, first-hand, what makes DePaul Catholic a family committed to a faith-filled education.
DePaul Catholic High School is considered a home away from home for our students. Nestled along Alps Road in Wayne, New Jersey, DePaul Catholic High School has maintained a proud and respected tradition of Catholic education and academic excellence for 60 years, and that is why, today, as the oldest coeducational Catholic high school in Northern New Jersey, we are considered one of the preeminent Catholic day schools in the region.
Our long-standing success speaks to the quality of our dedicated teachers and administrators, our first-rate athletic programs and extracurricular offerings, a strong parent support system, close knit alumni, and visionary thinking and implementation of carefully crafted goals – all designed to provide a safe and memorable educational experience for each student.
DePaul Catholic remains committed to preparing students to participate actively in a complex society. Consistently, 100% of our seniors are accepted at the nation’s most well-regarded colleges, and over 80% earn Academic, Merit, and/or Athletic scholarships. DePaul Catholic's well-rounded education promotes the development of every child’s spiritual, intellectual, personal, and creative promise. A welcoming community, rigorous and relevant college preparatory program, small class size, use of 21st Century technology and teachers who encourage the unique talents and interests of each child are what make the DePaul Catholic experience unique. It is in this environment that we foster a culture of high expectations and servant leadership that paves the way for success in college and beyond. DePaul Catholic High School is truly large enough to challenge, yet small enough to care; as we Strive for Excellence in all that we do academically, spiritually, athletically and as a community.
Scholarship, Faith and Community, ideals modeled by St. Vincent DePaul himself, guide our school in all actions, every day. I invite you to learn about DePaul Catholic’s dynamic Eighth Grade and High School programs by browsing our website and contacting our Admissions Office for more information or to take a tour of our campus.
St. Vincent DePaul...Pray for Us!
