Scholarships are awarded upon admission to DePaul Catholic High School. The admissions committee selects students for scholarship eligibility based on:
a. Prior academic performance and future academic promise
b. Excellent character evaluations
c. Results of the entrance exam
d. Potential of the student to contribute to the DPCHS community
e. Demonstrated interest in joining the DPCHS community
No applications are available for DPCHS scholarships; instead, every application for admission is reviewed for scholarship potential
Scholarships are funded primarily through the generous donations of the DPCHS community, including alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends.
The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to the top students in the applicant pool for ninth grade as identified through COOP testing results, academic performance and coursework in 8th grade, and recommendations. This is an award of $7000 and is renewable each year provided the student maintains the required academic performance.The recipients of this scholarship are required to take a full Honors and if appropriate AP curriculum.
The Vincentian Scholarship is awarded to top students in each year’s applicant pool. These students must be top academic students as demonstrated by the COOP entrance exam and their current transcript. This is an award of $3000 and is renewable each year provided the student maintains the required academic performance. The recipients of this scholarship are also required to take a full Honors Curriculum.
Elizabeth Ann Seton Scholarship
The Seton Scholarship is awarded to top students in the applicant pool who have demonstrated their scholarship through strong performance on the COOP entrance exam and in their work in school. This award of $1500 is renewable each year provided the recipient maintains the required academic performance. The recipients of this scholarship are eligible to enroll in our Select Honors Program in either Math and Science or the Humanities.
Sr. Patricia Flarity Scholarship
The Sr. Patricia Flarity Scholarship is awarded to returning students who demonstrate extreme need and meet all requirements for admission to DePaul Catholic. Careful attention is given to students who have experienced significant hardships during the previous year.
The Spartan Scholarship is awarded each year to students of need who through their academic performance and contributions to their school and/or local community exemplify the true definition of a Spartan: a person of great courage and self-discipline.

DePaul Catholic Need-Based Financial Aid
DePaul Catholic High School provides assistance for families who demonstrate need for financial assistance. Submission of a DePaul Catholic Financial Aid Application, a FACTS Tuition Aid form and completed tax return records are necessary for a student to be considered for aid. DePaul Catholic Catholic also offers a discount for siblings enrolled at the same time.
