Congratulations Class of 2017

Message from the Principal

Kenneth Jennings

On behalf of the DePaul Catholic family, I welcome you to our website!  I am happy that you have found us, and enjoy your visit.

Since 1956, DePaul Catholic High School has been fostering the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social growth of its students.  I believe that you will be impressed with the academic program that DePaul Catholic has to offer.  On a daily basis, our students are challenged in their classes on the AP, Honors, and College Prep levels.  As you explore our academic program you will see that our students are met each day with high expectations and rigor.  DePaul Catholic offers varied courses; from sixteen AP courses to electives that challenge and inspire students to explore their academic interests.

One of the hallmarks of DePaul Catholic is that our community is blessed with a rich tradition steeped in the care of each individual student.  Students are consistently challenged to develop both academically and morally through their Theology classes.  Students are then asked to put their faith into action through our Christian service requirement, daily masses, retreat opportunities, opportunities for reflection and regular celebration of the Sacraments.

This all happens in conjunction with the dedicated faculty and staff at DePaul Catholic.  In the classroom, our faculty challenge and engage each student all while also providing the necessary academic support before and after school.  Our faculty’s ultimate desire is to help form young women and young men into the people that God is calling them to be - compassionate citizens who respect the dignity of all people, and leaders who are willing to meet the challenges of a complex global society.

Here at DePaul Catholic we offer a full program of co-curricular opportunities that include community service, honor societies, the arts, and athletics to name just a few.  Each of these offerings have the same goal in mind: to offer our students the chance to compliment what they have learned in the classroom with the leadership skills essential in today’s world.

This just scratches the surface of what DePaul Catholic has to offer your son or daughter.  As you see our 1-to-1 laptop initiative, our robust college counseling program, and our new Information Commons which supports our school’s commitment to 21st Century Education, I know you will join me in my excitement over our first-class academic program.

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions as you explore our website and our many excellent programs to see how DePaul Catholic is truly, “large enough to challenge, small enough to care.”

Prayers & Blessings,

Fr. Peter Clarke
