Tuition & Scholarships

Tuition for DePaul Catholic High School, Grades 9-12, and its 8th Grade Prep is structured to provide a high-quality, well-rounded, faith-based, Catholic education at an affordable rate. Our tuition covers a wide range of academic programs, co-curricular, and Campus Ministry activities.

Below are the tuition rates and fee schedule for Academic Year 2026-2027.

The Enrollment Fee is non-refundable.
Eighth Grade, Ninth Grade, and all new students' tuition deposit is also non-refundable, but will be credited towards tuition.
Technology Fee and other various Students Fees are now included in tuition.
Tuition payment plans are available and must be completed in FinalSite on or before February 27, 2026 (Eighth & Ninth Grade) and March 6, 2026 (All Returning Students).
 A $300 discount is available if tuition is paid in full by July 1, 2026.

Additional Costs:

Uniforms - All students are required to purchase and wear the assigned school uniforms purchased from Flynn O’Hara at all times. 

Books - All students are required to purchase the required course books. Book lists will be available in the summer.

Transportation Services - All students are required to pay for transportation services if available.

Laptop - Ninth-grade and transfer students will be required to purchase a DePaul Catholic High School authorized laptop. Details regarding the purchase of this laptop from a school-approved vendor will be provided to registered students.

Academic Merit Scholarships:

Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded upon admission to DePaul Catholic High School. The DePaul Catholic High School’s Academic Merit Scholarships include:

1. President’s Scholarship
2. Principal’s Scholarship
3. Vincentian Scholarship
4. Seton Scholarship

The admissions committee selects students for scholarship eligibility based on:

1. Prior academic performance and coursework
2. Results of the High School Placement Test
3. Recommendations
4. Successful Interview
5. Demonstrated interest in joining the DPCHS community

Tuition Assistance & Financial Aid:

DePaul Catholic High School awards financial aid on a need-based basis.

To be considered for DePaul Catholic Financial Aid, families must complete a FACTS application. Complete your application online at FACTS Application. If you have specific FACTS-related questions, please call the parent help number at 1-866-441-4637.

Tuition assistance and other financial aid grants will be reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee and will be awarded on a need-based basis after a review of the family’s FACTS application. Sibling, Diocesan Employee, and Legacy discounts are also available.

Tuition assistance and other financial aid grants are also available from the following independent funds.

Tri-County Scholarship Fund

  • This need-based scholarship is based on family income. Families must apply through FACTS.
  • The Tri-County Scholarship is affiliated with the Diocese of Paterson and not DePaul Catholic. The DePaul Catholic administration does not make the decisions regarding Tri-County Scholarship Recipients.
  • The deadline to apply for Tri-County is February 15, 2026.
  • Applying for Tuition Assistance from the Tri-County Scholarship Fund does not guarantee you will qualify for assistance.
  • Tri-County will notify those who qualify to receive a scholarship in May.

Catholic Education Trust

  • This is awarded by the Diocese of Paterson.
  • This information will be emailed directly to families that reside in Paterson and Passaic.
  • Applying for Catholic Education Trust Fund Tuition Assistance opens in December, and the application deadline is in April.
  • Applying for Tuition Assistance from the Catholic Education Trust Fund does not guarantee you will qualify for assistance.
  • The Catholic Education Trust will notify those who qualify to receive a scholarship in May.

DePaul Catholic Alumni Scholars Fund

Tuition assistance is also available from the DePaul Catholic Alumni Scholars Fund.

  • This is need-based Tuition Assistance provided by DePaul Catholic Alumni, which is awarded based on family income, academic performance, and the completion and submission of an essay.
  • Families must apply through the Admissions office at DePaul Catholic High School and must complete a FACTS application.
  • Applications are accepted immediately. The deadline to apply for a DePaul Catholic Alumni Scholars Scholarship is December 31, 2025.
  • Applying for Tuition Assistance from the DePaul Catholic Alumni Scholarship Fund does not guarantee you will qualify for assistance.
  • DePaul Catholic High School will notify those who qualify to receive a scholarship as they are approved.
