SpartanBots take 17th Place

On April 25, 2018, the DePaul Robotics Team participated for the third year in the Panasonic Creative Design Challenge.  This year participating high schools focused on assembling a robot designed to simulate performing maintenance tasks on a wind turbine. Tasks included climbing a rope to access turbine blades, clean debris (paper clips), repair damage (place velcro patch), remove and replace a battery pack (9V cell), push buttons to orient turbine blades (Arduino microprocessor programming). The Team designed, tested, troubleshot, and refined a prototype that competed against other NJ high schools.
