Covenant of Honor and Respect

The basis of a Catholic education is to promote and protect the human dignity of each individual.

Respect and honesty for every member of the community are the keystones of our life at DePaul Catholic.

The quality of life here at school is in direct relationship to this respect and honesty.

As students, faculty and administration of DePaul Catholic, each person is called to live the following covenant:

I promise to respect all teachers, staff members and adults at all times as members of this sacred community.

I promise to respect the dignity of each student at DePaul Catholic as a young person created in the image and likeness of God.

I promise to act with honor and integrity in the classroom, on the athletic field and in school-life; whether on campus or off.
I promise to uphold the mission, beliefs and community standards of DePaul Catholic which promote scholarship, faith and community.
Each fall at the first school-wide liturgy, the entire community pledges to uphold the values stated in this Covenant and signs their name to the Covenant Boards that are displayed in the Hallway. DePaul Catholic's community standards, which were created by student leadership, faculty and administration, models this Covenant and governs the behavior of the student body.
